I watched the following Half-Blood Prince trailer on the edge of my seat, mouth practically salivating with anticipation, and then at the end was reminded that it's not going to be released until July 2009. Fucking assholes! It would have come out this weekend if they hadn't changed the date!

So, anyone else as excited as I am for the new Harry Potter movie? I know that it's not coming out for about six million years, because the greedy assholes at Warner Bros. want to stretch it out as long as possible, but they recently released a new teaser trailer for Half-Blood Prince and it's got me in such a Harry Potter mood.

Ever since the sixth Harry Potter book, people have argued over whether Severus Snape was good or evil. Even after the seventh and final book, there are still some questions. So here's my take on the situation.

(And yes, there are Deathly Hallows spoilers under the cut. Read the book like now, please.)

So I took my time with this book, dawdled, if you will, knowing subconciously that it was the last one and that I should savor it. But I'm finally finished... so here are some initial thoughts. Since it's six in the morning, though, and I've been reading all night, I will hopefully have more to say after I catch up on a bit of sleep.

The release of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows is days away, and if you are an HP fan and don't want to be spoiled, there are some precautions you should take!
